⏳ That business decision you've been putting off? It's not about time.

"I'll get to it when things slow down" is the greatest lie we tell ourselves as practice owners.

Next time you find yourself procrastinating on an important business task, pause and ask:
"Am I avoiding the task itself, or am I avoiding how it makes me feel?"

Firing that toxic employee = Avoiding conflict
Raising your prices = Avoiding rejection
Creating systems = Avoiding vulnerability
Delegating tasks = Avoiding loss of control

Identifying the true emotional barrier is the first step to breaking through it.

I have been putting out some emails lately with the focus being to get more practice owners to dial in a greater focus on building their practice value.

For many, we put our head down and grind. Then one day, we say we are ready to hang up the goniometer. If you're nowhere close to thinking about your exit, you should plan for it nevertheless.

I am delivering a live webinar on Wed, Nov. 19th at 3PM ET on Raising Your Practice Valuation. I have also spent a few years in private equity buying private practices. I do have some insight to share. I'll also give you a solid checklist of actions to take.

The walk from coffee shop to office exposed EVERYTHING about candidates. 🚶‍♂️

My Chicago client discovered this by accident. After formal interviews at a nearby diner, he'd casually invite candidates to see the clinic just 300 yards away.

What happened during that short stroll? The interview mask VANISHED.

Some complained about current bosses. Others showed impatience with pedestrians. A few revealed entitled attitudes toward service workers they passed.

No prepared answers. No rehearsed smiles. Just raw, unfiltered personality on display.

Want to know who your future STAR employees are? Just mention performance-based pay. 💰

When I say: "How do you feel about a low base pay with unlimited bonus potential based on performance?" I get two reactions:

STARS light up: "I've outperformed everywhere I've worked - I'd love that!"

AVERAGE players get nervous: "I prefer just a steady salary, it's easier for my budget..."

This single question has transformed my hiring success rate.

People who embrace performance accountability ALWAYS outperform.
