Yesterday we had the ladies from the Arizona License and Liquor Contol Agency join us at Pima High School to talk to the high schoolers about how to “Be a thinker, not a drinker.”

The Substance Abuse Coalition had activities for the high schoolers that simulated the affects of alcohol.

Thank you to all the kids who showed up! We had a great time and the students learned a lot !

Today Graham County Hosted The Statewide Reentry meeting at Graham County Jail.

Yavapai & Navajo County Drove down and we had people from all counties online.

Along with county jails we are bringing Arizona Department of Corrections into the conversation!

I had been out of prison 10 months when we started The Sunrise Program.
We are nominated The Best of The Gila Valley Non-Profit/Good Deeds this year.
Sunrise is a testament to the fact that recovery and redemption are real.
And support and connection are key components to recovery and successful reentry.
