We met and grew up in this very prison.
She ran boot camps and I was there.
We got out and started running programs inside together and separately.
We now both run reentry programs outside....

Our friendship was forged through the fire of shared pain AND healing.
We burned the boats of incarceration and addiction when we walked out those prisons gates.
Then we built a bridge and walked back over it not only into Perryville Prison, but to others as well to bring fitness and holistic healing to those still inside.
Through our burning, we found our purpose.
Turns out it wasn't even about us.
It's about helping others.
For the last couple of months the people closest to me know I’ve had to walk through the fire again.
I’ve done a lot of burning.
Every time we comeback stronger. I love you guys.
