Born on December 8, 1991, she brought joy and light to all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, who will carry her adventurous spirit and crazy beautiful personality with them.

Georgeann was born to Krista Barnett-Zamora, who preceded her in death. From a young age, she shone brightly at Safford High School, graduating with the Class of 2009. Her zest for life was apparent in everything she did, whether she was working in construction for Freeport McMoRan mine or enjoying the peacefulness of fishing on serene waters. She took immense pride in her children, Braxton, Chaycee, and Krista, whom she adored and raised with unwavering love.

Georgeann is lovingly remembered by her cherished children, who were her proudest accomplishments. Her legacy continues through them, as she instilled values of hard work, compassion, and adventure. She is survived by a devoted family that includes her children Braxton, Chaycee, and Krista Goodman, her brothers Jacob Barnett, Jesse Zamora, and Joe Zamora, her grandfather Howard Barnett, her grandmother Kathy (Ronnie) Glaspie, her step-father Ray Zamora, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sh*tomi Porter

Sh*tomi Porter, a cherished seamstress, loving mother, and devoted grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Thatcher, Arizona, surrounded by the warmth of her family. Born on November 30, 1932, in the serene Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, Sh*tomi embodied a spirit of compassion and joy that deeply touched everyone she met.

Throughout her life, Sh*tomi was guided by her belief that each person holds within themselves the potential for enlightenment—an immeasurable reservoir of wisdom, energy, and kindness. This philosophy seamlessly reflected in her character as she nurtured those around her with profound love and understanding.

Sh*tomi's heart was vibrant and full, a canvas painted with rich experiences that defined her proudest accomplishments. She often spoke of the day she married Kay W. Porter on August 16, 1956, as one of the happiest moments of her life. Together, they forged a lifelong partnership built on love, laughter, and mutual respect. Although now separated by death, her memories of Kay persist, resonating through the stories she would tell.

As a mother to her beloved daughters, Linda Hernandez and Anna (Thomas) Bencomo, Sh*tomi took immense pride in nurturing their spirits and instilling in them the values she held dear. Her legacy continued through her 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom were recipients of her boundless love and care—she adored them deeply, celebrating their achievements and joys as if they were her own.

Beyond her family, Sh*tomi’s interests revealed her creative soul. She found joy in cooking, gardening, and sewing, each hobby reflecting her nurturing nature and her desire to bring comfort and happiness to others. They served not only as expressions of her creativity but also as vehicles through which she fostered connections and shared love with family and friends.

Though she is now reunited with her beloved parents, Shigeru and Sada Yazawa, and her husband, Kay W. Porter, Sh*tomi's spirit will forever remain woven into the fabric of her family’s lives. Her wisdom, laughter, and warmth will echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we remember Sh*tomi Porter, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and unwavering faith in humanity. She leaves behind a legacy of enlightenment, which inspires her family to carry forth her light and continue nurturing the seeds of joy and wisdom she planted in their lives.

Frances C. White

Frances C. White, a cherished matriarch, loving homemaker, and radiant spirit, left this world on December 22, 2025, at the age of 101. Born on September 17, 1924, in Clifton, Arizona, Frances graced her family and friends with an unwavering warmth that brightened their lives. From her early days attending Clifton High School to her enduring faith as a devoted Christian woman, her journey was marked by love and connection.

Frances was a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Her deep affection for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends was palpable. She regarded her family as her proudest accomplishment, relishing in the moments spent together—22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, each a testament to her nurturing spirit and legacy.

Known for her infectious joy, Frances approached life with a sense of humor, always happy, caring, and friendly. Her love for people drew them to her like bees to honey. Frances thrived in her hobbies, finding solace in gardening, infusing her home with the rich aromas of her cooking, and embracing the simplicity of camping trips. One particularly endearing memory is of her sitting atop a horse, laughing as her husband held the reins to ensure the horse remained still, a beautiful encapsulation of her carefree spirit and deep bond with him. They were blessed with 7 children: Rosie, Raymond, Eugene, Terry, Nellie, Epitacio, and Roy Morales.

Frances is survived by her brother and Julio Coronado as well as her children; Rosie Gonzales, Eugene (Judy) Morales, Terry (Raul) Orosco, Nellie Sevrin, Epitacio (Debbie) Morales, and Roy (Bertha) Morales, along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.

Though Frances experienced loss in her life, including the passing of her first husband Eugene Morales, Sr., her second husband Everet White, her son Raymond Morales, and her brother & sister-in-law Manuel & Connie Gonzalez, she carried their memories with grace and resilience. She was a loving daughter to Beatrice and Francisco Chavez, nurturing the values they instilled in her.

Frances's life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness and laughter. As she departs from our world, she leaves behind the echoes of her joyous laughter, the lessons of compassion she imparted, and a legacy of unconditional love that will resonate within the hearts of her cherished family and all who had the honor of knowing her. May her memory forever be a light in the lives she touched.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish with the viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 10:00 and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. Burial will be in the Safford Cemetery following services.

Family & friends are invited to gather for a luncheon following interment at The Venue on Main Street: 430 W Main Street, Safford, AZ 85546.
