This branch fell over in my yard recently. It was growing tart cherries. Seemed to be okay to me. We had to cut it all the way off. Perhaps some pruning would’ve saved it, if it had not been so heavy. The rest of the tree will be okay. We are tending to it more carefully. The message inside of this may be that less is more? A lesson I am learning slowly. I have often been a more is more guy.
