🌱 We’re Hiring: PRN Registered Dietitians! 🌱

Enlightened Nutrition is expanding, and we’re looking for passionate Registered Dietitians (RDNs) to join our team as we grow in Saginaw County! If you love leading group classes, supporting community wellness, and making a real difference, let’s talk.

What you’ll do:
• Lead nutrition workshops at Schomaker Farms & other local spots
• Offer group & individual counseling (in-person & virtual)
• Help create engaging nutrition materials
• Support wellness initiatives with our amazing team

Who we’re looking for:
• RDN, licensed or eligible in Michigan
• Experience with group education a plus
• Comfortable with virtual platforms
• Strong communicator, organized, and ready to make an impact!

Flexible, contract position—hours fit your schedule. Apply by Dec 31 for a January 2026 start. Extra virtual hours available!

An absolute pleasure to be working with this amazing program to help bridge the gap between where our food comes from and how it can help us thrive!! 🥰🌱🍎

Our residential programs have kicked off their first “Spring to Wellness” initiative. Throughout the spring, youth will be learning about nutrition and healthy living. Activities will include cooking competitions, growing healthy foods, exercise and recreation education, and lots of fun! Special thanks to Enlighted Nutrition (pictured here!) for sharing your nutrition expertise with the youth in our care, and to Schomaker Farms for teaching youth how to garden and harvest. Holistic healing includes caring for our bodies and connecting with our community, and we are thrilled to have partners who support youth in foster care to thrive.

Grocery shopping can be stressful! There are so many products to choose between, how do you know what will best support your goals?!

Here are 5 helpful tips to simplify your hunt for the best products.

My personal favorite being the try 1 new thing! This is great no matter where you are in your journey because it encourages you to try new things! This is also great for engaging kids in the trip- maybe you let them choose the item in the produce section!

This week, I ventured outside of the produce aisle for my “something new” and tried this newer sugar replacement in my breakfast pumpkin muffins. Easy way to make my recipe more blood sugar friendly ❤️
