Dr. Daniel Tello is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. A native of New York City, Dr. Tello earned his Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida before pursuing his Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers University. He went on to complete his dental training at NYU College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Dr. Tello’s passion for dentistry began early—while still in high school, he worked as a dental assistant, gaining firsthand experience in patient care and developing a lasting appreciation for the impact dentistry can have on people’s lives. Today, he brings that same enthusiasm to every patient interaction.

Known for his compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Tello places a strong emphasis on patient education, ensuring that each patient fully understands their treatment options and feels confident in their care. He has a special interest in esthetic dentistry and implant dentistry, focusing on treatments that restore both function and natural-looking beauty to his patients’ smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Tello enjoys staying active and exploring new experiences. He loves scuba diving, traveling to new destinations each year, and unwinding with a fun night of karaoke. And, despite the emotional ups and downs that come with it, he remains a loyal fan of the New York Jets—a commitment he’ll admit requires both patience and a good sense of humor.

This amazing team of dentists are truly a “breath of fresh air”, bringing not only clinical excellence to every appointment, but also kindness, patience, and a genuine commitment to caring for our community.

We’re so grateful for the passion they bring to their patients and to our team every single day. And while Dr. Tello may be enjoying a well-deserved day off and isn’t pictured today, he’s absolutely part of the celebration.

What a way to wrap up Kids Dental Health Month ✨

Today, our team finished another amazing round of our dental health programs at Chisholm Ridge Elementary and Bryson Elementary— and honestly, it’s hard to believe it’s already over! 😔

From big smiles to brave teachers and LOTS of excitement, this month has been such a blast. We still have a few programs scheduled with some of our other offices, but that’s officially a wrap for our Saginaw kids.

And if you know Dr. Scott, you know this: if he had it his way, this is all he would do — every day, every week, all year long. He absolutely loves pouring into these kids and helping make dental health fun, positive, and memorable. And we love him for it.

Fun Fact: Over 4,500 dental hygiene goody bags were given out this year and the number continues to climb. 🤯

To all the students, teachers, and staff who welcomed us in — thank you for letting us be part of your school days. We already can’t wait for next year! 💙
