Great Lakes Bay Health Centers is proud to share the launch and early success of our new Mobile Vision Bus, which is already making a meaningful difference for students and families across our community. By bringing full eye exams and on-site glasses directly to schools and community partners, we’re reducing barriers to care and helping children see clearly, succeed academically, and gain confidence. For too many people in our community, tomorrow is a question mark each evening. The fear of medical bills is overwhelming. We don't turn away patients who don't have insurance. They receive medical care from a team of caregivers - including nurses, doctors, lab technicians, pharmacists, and more. A gift of $267 can support this access to care for everyone. Many support services we provide are not fully reimbursed by insurance but are crucial to our patients - who often need a ride to a center, help from a community health worker, or even a safe place for their child to sleep.

Thank you to these contributors to our capital campaign to help fund the new Bayside health center. Each giving level is more than a donation—it’s a statement of belief in a healthier future for our community.

With community support, we are building a new center in Uptown Bay City that will serve as a lifeline for thousands of families in our region. The new Bayside building will be more than 60,000 square feet of hope, healing, and opportunity. It will allow us to care for an additional 18,000 patients each year—many of whom face significant barriers to accessing care.
