Thank you to Mark DeWolf-Ott from the Japanese Cultural Center of Saginaw for spending time with residents this week as he walked them through the process of creating origami - the Japanese art of paper folding.

We had fun making different shapes as Mark assisted through each step. Final products: a swan candy bowl, Santa, heart and a swimming fish.

We had delightful guests all the way from Munich, Germany, to help us decorate our pumpkins for Halloween! They brought so much fun and creativity to their visit with us.

Operation Christmas Child!
Small gifts, big love. Residents joined together to pack 25 Operation Christmas Child boxes—each one a bundle of hope and happiness for a child in need. Residents who had participated in making craft projects for children throughout the world got to enjoy this final step of the process.
