Congratulations to Teresa on graduating from therapy, and welcome to the ! 🎓💙🎓

Teresa and her husband, Jon, were in a dune buggy accident over the summer, and both were experiencing the after effects of whiplash.

Jon stopped in a couple weeks ago looking for a PT clinic who could get them in as soon as possible, as they were leaving for Florida for the winter in just a couple of weeks!

The Renue team was able to get both of them scheduled for evaluation that same day and both of them completed three additional visits. Both are happy to be experiencing much less pain, just in time to travel to Florida 😎🌴☀️

Great work Teresa and Jon, and enjoy the sunshine!

⍰ What motivates you to come to work each day?
“My motivation is seeing patients improve. Knowing I can be one of the reasons a patient's pain and function are improving is what keeps me going!”

⍰ What’s something surprising patients might not know about you?
“I grew up in 4-H and have entered just about every animal in the county fair, my favorite being beef cattle!”

Mary came to us with neck pain that improved after just one visit! She is now continuing independently with home exercises and is happy to be pain-free with sleeping, household chores, and playing cards.

⍰ What motivates you to come to work each day?
“My motivation to come to work each day is seeing my patients improving with each visit. As they progress closer to their goals it motivates me to get them back to where they aspire to be.”

⍰ What’s something surprising patients might not know about you?
“Something patients may not know about me is that despite always talking about my secondary job as a youth soccer referee, I played for Oakland University's club basketball team for two years. Growing up, basketball was always my number one sport, and I still prefer watching basketball over anything else.”

Congratulations to MaryEllene on graduating from therapy, and welcome to the ! 🎓💙🎓

MaryEllene came to Renue Shields with a hip injury that significantly limited her strength and mobility needed for working at a greenhouse and the hospital. She worked very hard through her exercise routine and is feeling 100% better! She's looking forward to traveling down south to meet her newest grandchild and being able to help the family get settled ☺️

Ruth came to PT following total hip revision with the hopes of using her cane again instead of a walker, and she worked very hard to get there! She is looking forward to enjoying the upcoming holidays with improved mobility and strength.
