We all understand that good nutrition is vital for overall health, and it’s equally important for maintaining eye health! With the holidays approaching, many of us will be cooking our favorite dishes, such as salmon, rich in omega-3 fatty acids; sweet potatoes, high in beta-carotene; or leafy greens like spinach, which contain eye-friendly vitamin C. As you prepare your Thanksgiving meal, remember to review our kitchen safety tips for your eyes. Check out our latest blog before you start cooking to ensure your kitchen is safe for everyone, from grandma to the grandkids, this Thanksgiving. https://www.eyecenterstaug.com/blog/

✨ Inspiring the Next Generation of Eye Care Professionals ✨

Dr. Nelligan volunteered at one of our local High Schools and led an incredible hands-on lesson in eye anatomy β€” complete with pig eye dissections! πŸ‘οΈπŸ”¬

Students had the opportunity to explore the structures of the eye up close while learning how vision works and asking thoughtful questions about ophthalmology and careers in medicine.

At Eye Center of St. Augustine, we believe in giving back to our community and investing in future leaders. Moments like this remind us that curiosity and opportunity can spark lifelong passion.

Thank you, Tacoi Creek High School, for welcoming us into your classroom β€” and thank you, Dr. Nelligan, for sharing your time, expertise, and enthusiasm for advancing the future of eye care.

See Your World in a New Light.
