Have you ever wondered how horses can be such powerful teachers? 🤔🐴
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is a unique and special way of working with horses to help people build life skills! It is a research-based approach that works with horses as teachers to help people learn about themselves and others.
THIS is the type of learning that our programs focus on! It's a unique and fun way to learn essential life skills!
So, how does it work?
In our programs, you'll participate in exercises with the horses that are designed to teach specific life skills.
For example, you will participate in programs requiring you to problem-solve to figure out how to get the horse (and your team) to accomplish a goal. These skills you learn will then be paralleled to real-life scenarios so that you can see how they are relevant and can be implemented in the real world.
We have programs to develop all kinds of life skills, such as:
- Relationship skills
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills
- And more!
And even if you're thinking, "I don't know anything about horses! How am I supposed to do this?" Don't worry! You don't need to have any previous experience with horses. (And there is no riding involved). Our experienced facilitator will be there to help you every step of the way. And, you'll be learning in a fun and supportive environment with other participants who are also there to learn and grow!
