Ayurvedic medicine can enrich our lives. Humans share an evolutionary heritage with all other species, we are woven into the fabric of life. Therefore, we do not exist outside of the domain of nature, it is important to remember our physiology is a living, dynamic sphere. In addition, the eternal cosmic spark resides inside all of us, thus, living in an ailing or suffering body compares to living in a home with dirty windows. When your experience is obstructed by physical, mental, or emotional stress, it is hard to endure the sea of change in life. Additionally, the full cosmic spectrum of light can not illuminate a vessel it cannot pe*****te or fully radiate through.

Ayurveda is an ancient healthcare system that dates back 5,000 years ago to the Vedic period of India. In Sanskrit, “ayuh” means “life”, and “veda” means “science or sacred knowledge”. Ayurveda translates roughly to “the science of life”. According to Ayurveda, individuals are born with a unique mixture of elements creating a person’s Prakriti (nature). These elements are a combination of ether/space, air, fire, water, and earth. The result is three distinct doshas (bio energy centers) that govern physiological activity in the body. They are; Vata (space/ether and air), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (earth and water).
