We’re very proud of our work here at Silver Treasures…and our fantastic team of staff. We’d like to share some praise we got yesterday from the VP of the corporate offices. Here’s what he said.
“I've walked in and out of our St.Augustine location for years but today was different, I couldn't put my finger on it but felt different. Then it hit me, the team Efren, Kim, Lisa, and all the staff have cultivated a positive culture that focuses values, social atmosphere, person-centered care, and the promotion of not only residents' well being but the staff's well being. They have fostered an all hands on deck approach to the day to day inner workings of the community. I walked around chatting with staff who were smiling, happy, and had pride in their look and job, managers offering up positive unprompted words about their peers. Residents and family members took the opportunity to seek me out to give Kudos to staff members and share kind words about how well the staff treat their loved ones. Culture is the shared beliefs, values, customs, and social behaviors that define a group of people. St. Augustine has worked hard to instill a culture that they can all get behind and it shows in the 5 senses. It doesn't surprise me that this community stays 90%+ in census year round.
