LIVING DEEP, NOT WIDE

Do you ever feel like you are living behind a mask of who you think you “should” be?

Can you sometimes feel a longing in your heart, sometimes loud, sometimes faint… that you keep postponing because you are busy, performing, taking care of everything, doing your best to convince yourself you are “living your best life ever”?

But are you?
Really?

We live in a world of constant stimulation — nonstop communication, constant input, relentless noise. Many of us have forgotten how to sit still for even five minutes without reading, scrolling, talking, or thinking.

Just sitting.
With our own Being.

Our minds never shut up. They are always convincing us there is something we missed, something we need to figure out. It gives no respite except perhaps when we sleep.

We aren’t built to process life at this level of noise and speed.
We are built for depth.

Tonight is the Full Moon — a Ta**us Super Full Moon.
Whether or not you follow astrology, this is a potent moment to turn toward nature and inward toward your deep self.

So tonight… go outside.
Sit under the moonlight.
Do nothing except listen.

If you are fortunate enough to live surrounded by nature:
Listen to the night creatures.
Listen to the subtle shifts of the wind.
Listen to your breath as it begins to soften and slowly bring you back into your body.

Not trying.
Not figuring anything out.
Simply listening.

Some of you will find your nervous system drinks this like nourishment because you are exhausted.

Some of you will notice your body feels too wired to slow down — the head doesn’t want to stop — and that’s okay too. Try focusing on your breath and feeling the night air on your skin. If it is cold, breathe in that sharp coldness and let it invigorate your body.

Some of you will slip into a communion — a mysterious quiet where you can actually feel you are part of something infinitely larger than you… where your compassion, awe, and love for Life expands.

What would your life be like living from this space?
What would drop away?
What would be embraced?

Imagine…

Imagine a world where most people lived from awe, reverence, and compassion for Life itself.

Imagine what would open within if we prioritized depth over speed… presence over distraction… silence over performance.

What would be revealed?
What wisdom would return?

What if the real “best life ever”…wasn’t about living wide…
…but living deep?

Can we break free from invisible ghosts that sabotage our lives?

We all carry ghosts.

Not the Halloween kind — but the invisible forces that haunt our inner and outer world.
They rise when we’re about to speak our truth.
They surface when love asks us to open our hearts.
They appear at the very doorway of purpose and make us freeze with fear.
Most often, these “ghosts” are not evil. They’re protective. Sometimes they’re ancient, from our ancestral memory. Sometimes they are old memories from our past disappointments and traumas locked into our minds, bodies and nervous systems. They could even occasionally be actual ghosts.

Born from moments we felt too much, or believed we weren’t enough, these ghosts cover us over and stop our ability to shine.
Here's the cost:
• The ghost of anger keeps us in control — when life is asking for trust.
• The ghost of overthinking analyzes every move — while our body already knows but we don’t listen.
• The ghost of grief convinces us it’s not safe to hope again.
• The ghost of fear whispers: stay small, stay quiet, stay invisible.
• The ghost of performance keeps us endlessly occupied and busy — and detached from our true purpose.
These ghosts don’t just block our path.
They disrupt the inner signal of truth — the quiet wisdom of the heart.
When we attempt to rediscover our authentic selves, they create interference. Interference that sometimes feels almost unbearable and creates walls that seem insurmountable.
Not because they are malicious —
but because they believe they’re keeping us safe.

THE INVITATION

Rather than battling these ghosts; or worse, not knowing they exist…we can invite them out of hiding into healing with:
• Breath
• Embodiment
• Radical honesty
• Expanding our understanding beyond conventional thought
• Somatic and energetic release
• The deliberate choice to slow down and discern what is true, rather than what is familiar.
When we do this, something astonishing happens:
• The ghost of anger transforms into clear direction and creativity.
• The ghost of overthinking softens into clarity and peacefulness.
• The ghost of grief becomes quiet belonging and reverence for life.
• The ghost of fear becomes pure instinct and embodied wisdom.
• The ghost of performance turns into purposeful creation.
The ghosts are not the enemy.
They are guardians at the threshold —
waiting for us to step into authorship of our own life.

Your soul work is not about trying to becoming more, figuring it out or fixing yourself.
It’s about no longer being haunted by what you are not.

So grateful for the Earth… spent yesterday deeply connecting to my land. I had thought I would go to the beach for sunrise but got very clearly to stay home and connect to the land. I did an Agnihotra blessing and sitting in a deep stillness… more rare these days wilth all the construction going on around me.

Then…later was able to collect some goodies!!

Yesterday’s Equinox lunch. The red plate shows all the wild things I picked from the yard to put in my salad. Clockwise, Bidens alba, dandelion greens, gotu kola, violet leaves plus Bidens flowers (white) and a turkscap (red). I grew the yellow pepper too! It’s almost didn’t make through all
The rain we have been having.

A Vision for Mother Earth

We envision our Mother Earth in her Highest Light, where all the waters, everywhere, are pure and clean; where all the plants and animals who dwell in and around the water are living their lives happily, healthfully, and joyfully; where everyone who depends upon the water for their leisure or their livelihood is grateful for the abundance they enjoy;

And, finally, we see Mother Earth as a living entity, evolving on her own and joyous on her journey as she becomes a brighter star. We see a Mother Earth who is proud of us, proud of all of us, because we have done what we came here to do.
