We had the most wonderful surprise today thanks to our friends at 365 Hospice. A huge thank you to Sammy, Bri, and Lizzy for stopping by with beautiful, thoughtful Valentines for all of our residents! 🌹✨

There is nothing quite like a handwritten note and a friendly smile to brighten someone’s day. This kind gesture truly warmed our spirits and was the perfect way to kick off our morning. 💌

❤️ Family, Flowers, and Fun!
We had a wonderful time last week at our Valentine’s Wreath Making workshop! The creativity was flowing, but the best part was the company.

A very special thank you to Lisa for volunteering her time to lead this activity! Having Lisa join her Mom and all the fellow residents added such a rewarding and personal touch to the afternoon. There is nothing quite like the joy of our residents getting to work side-by-side with their children/family on something beautiful.

Thank you, Lisa, for your kindness and for making Saint Benedict feel even more like home! 🌹✨

As the snow will be piling up and the temperatures drop, the team at Saint Benedict Manor is thinking of our wonderful community. While we’re keeping our residents cozy and comforted, we want to take a moment to honor those who are out in the thick of it.

Our deepest respect and prayers go out to:

🔹 Our Frontline Heroes: To the healthcare workers, EMS, law enforcement, and firefighters who continue to serve around the clock. Your dedication to our safety never wavers, even in a storm.

🔹 The Road Crews: To our state and local township workers who work diligently to clear the mounds of snow and keep our roadways as safe as possible.

🔹 The Line Men & Women: To those braving fierce, blistering winds and freezing heights to ensure our heat and lights stay on—your grit is truly humbling.

Please stay off the roads if you can and check in on your neighbors. We are so grateful for the spirit of service that keeps our community moving, no matter the weather!

There is nothing our residents love more than a good old-fashioned auction! The energy in the room was electric today—the bids were high, the prizes were sweet, but the laughter was absolutely infectious!

A Special Thanks to Heidi from 1Laurel Highland Hospice for hosting this fan-favorite event. ❤️

The kitchen at Saint Benedict Manor smelled absolutely heavenly! 🍑🍓

By popular demand, our residents rolled up their sleeves to bake fresh Peach and Strawberry bread. There’s nothing quite like the scent of warm fruit and spices to make the Manor feel like home.

After our treats were in the oven, we kept the momentum going with a lively round of memory games! It was a great way to stay sharp, spark some friendly competition, and keep those brain muscles working. 🧠✨

Spreading the spirit continues! 🎄🙏 Huge thanks to St. Monica’s Parish for joining us Monday. From the beautiful Christmas caroling to the peaceful moments spent praying the Rosary with our residents, it was a day filled with grace and joy. We are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors!
