One of the pillars of my training as a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (Infant Massage USA) is listening without judgment. When parents attend a lesson, they bring emotions, expectations, questions, and sometimes even challenges. I welcome all of this with respect and openness, without evaluating or criticizing, but instead, creating a safe space where every experience matters.
Listening without judgment allows parents to feel free to express themselves, to share, to ask questions - without the few or “doing it wrong”. In this atmosphere, infant massage becomes a genuine journey of mutual discovery, with no rigid models, but the possibility of adapting strokes and rhythms to the uniques needs of each baby and family.
This value is reflected in each time spent with a family: it’s not about teaching the perfect technique but about offering an experience of relationship presence and authenticity. Listening without judgement means recognizing the competence of parents and the voice of babies!
