Christine is an experienced therapist who engages her clients in the therapeutic process by developing treatment goals based on their individual needs. She partners with them to develop a treatment plan that utilizes their support system which may including their family or other medical providers in order to ensure appropriate treatment goals are set and achieved. Christine enjoys engaging clients in the therapeutic process by giving value to each client’s perspective though her client-centered approach. She has experience working with teens and adults. Christine has the unique experience of having worked in the business field prior to obtaining her Master of Science degree from Northern Illinois University in 2008 with a major in Counseling. She received her bachelors degree from Florida State University in 2002 with a major in Communication and minor in Psychology. She has worked previously in Sales, Customer Services, Events Planning, and Human Resources. Before going into a private practice she worked at the Ben Gordon Center in DeKalb County for about 7.5 years. She is a Masters-prepared Nationally Certified Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
