Tri-County Help Center is participating in the Belmont County ACE'S (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Committee Child Abuse Awareness Month program by display 10 pinwheels in our St. Clarisville Office along with prevention information and community resource materials.

The pinwheels represent the national statistic that 1 in 10 children are sexually abused before their 18th birthday.

Huge THANK YOU to The Village of Shadyside mayor Mike Meintel and village council for signing a proclamation declaring April 2026 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Shadyside and for providing the Shadyside Community Room as the venue for Tri-County Help Center's Lunch & Learn on Friday, April 24. Also, want to give a special shout out to Betty Snyder in the Mayor's office for coordinating all the details!

We hope community members will join us on April 24 for "Together, We Can End Sexual Violence: A Powerful Panel Featuring Survivor Voices." Attendees will hear firsthand experience and gain insight into how we can reduce barriers and build a more supportive community.
