Specialized Spine Care, Inc. Does your neck & back pain limit what you can do? The spinal muscles gradually weaken as we compensate & avoid irritating activities.

This program uses specialized machines to isolate & rebuild those muscles to decrease pain & improve function. The philosophy of Specialized Spine Care is to treat the underlying cause of chronic neck and back pain instead of treating the symptoms of it. We do this by building the strength of the spinal musculature using machines with proven effectiveness that isolate those muscles by preventing compensation of surrounding area. This is done with all other joints in the body, such as the knee and shoulder, but it is often not done for the neck or back.

There are 13 pairs of muscles that directly support the spine & many more that support pelvis and head. These muscles can become weak from an injury, from compensating to avoid pain, or fear of “overdoing it”. If this happens, the support around the neck & back fades & puts greater stress on the spine, the discs, & the other nearby muscles. This is often the reason for pain.
