Celebrating 14 years of marriage to my best friend. I’ve had a few people ask me “what is the key to a successful marriage/relationship?” And I want to share what I’ve learned throughout the 16 years we’ve been together:

1. Never stop dating each other. It’s so easy to fall into the routines of life. Things stop being fun and exciting. I am a wife first, then mother. We make each other a priority in everything we do and we genuinely enjoy being with each other. No one makes me laugh more.
2. No cursing, name calling, yelling. Once the line is crossed it’s hard to come back from it. We can forgive things that are said. But we never forget. We have the most polite fights I’ve ever had in my life lol
3. Communication is KEY. Through our relationship we have grown and evolved. Our habits have changed, our likes and dislikes. So we do our best to be honest with each other and not take things personal, as hard as that can be sometimes… I just know that whatever I experience in this life, I want it to be by his side. All the changes, the growing, the hard things. I want to always go through it and grow together. So we talk… A LOT and I do most of it.

There is no magic trick. Just a lot of trust, work and above all love. So happy anniversary to the one my soul loves. I love you today, tomorrow and always ❤️

Election Day is here. I know this is a topic that has caused stressed to so many people. Myself included.

The stakes seem higher this time around. And that’s because the soul of our nation is on the line. Maybe to some it sounds exaggerated, or dramatic but to the ones like us that have been watching our country change and decline over the years, it was becoming more and more evident that we were headed in the wrong direction and it was becoming a war of good vs evil.

I have enjoyed freedom my entire life. I’ve enjoyed making my own decisions, good or bad, but it has been my right to make them. I’ve enjoyed the luxury of feeling safe in my community and my home because of law and order and the right to protect myself and my family. I’ve enjoyed being able to raise my kids the way I see fit and expose them to things when my husband and myself deem appropriate. I have enjoyed not having my daughters share spaces with men or having to make themselves feel small so that men can feel seen. I have enjoyed being able to say whatever I want, whenever I want and not be censored or threatened because of it. Freedoms people take for granted. But our freedoms come at a cost. And it’s time to show up and fight for our country. We are so grateful to our parents and my grandparents, who fled communism or left their country looking for a better life, and left everything they knew behind, so that we could have the opportunity to live the American dream and raise our children in the best country in the world.

There are so many reasons that the choice was clear this time around. I’ve been able to vote for my president 3x, this being my 3rd and final time, and it’s starting to feel like we might have gotten the train back on the tracks. To be able to save our country. To protect our children’s future. To be the voice of the voiceless. You may not agree with me, and I’ve never been one to really care. I was a part of the rebellion. I’m not doing it to be liked, I’m doing to for my children and their future. May they always know freedom and may god bless our beautiful country 🇺🇸❤️
