Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
We wondered through this journey who was in control. Baby seemed to be telling us something to wait, to be patient. We listened and trusted. I thought who is steering this and the only answer was from above. I have spent many hours over many births with this family and each one was filled with trust in God. I looked to Mary and asked her holds this sweet momma in her hands and she listened. A beautiful baby girl gently entered their family truly a gift. Happy Happy birthday baby!

Just before sunrise he gently slipped into the water and into momma's arms. He gazed at her turning only to glace at dad recognizing his familiar voice. They sat like this as light filled the sky. Happy birthday sweet baby what a blessed day.

To those who gave birth this year to their first child—we celebrate with you
To those who lost a child this year – we mourn with you
To those who are in the trenches with little ones every day and wear the badge of food stains – we appreciate you
To those who experienced loss this year through miscarriage, failed adoptions, or running away—we mourn with you
To those who walk the hard path of infertility, fraught with pokes, prods, tears, and disappointment – we walk with you. Forgive us when we say foolish things. We don’t mean to make this harder than it is.
To those who are foster moms, mentor moms, and spiritual moms – we need you
To those who have warm and close relationships with your children – we celebrate with you
To those who have disappointment, heart ache, and distance with your children – we sit with you
To those who lost their mothers this year – we grieve with you
To those who experienced abuse at the hands of your own mother – we acknowledge your experience
To those who lived through driving tests, medical tests, and the overall testing of motherhood – we are better for having you in our midst
To those who will have emptier nests in the upcoming year – we grieve and rejoice with you
And to those who are pregnant with new life, both expected and surprising –we anticipate with you
This Mother’s Day, we walk with you. Mothering is not for the faint of heart and we have real warriors in our midst. We remember you.

Look at this beautiful placenta print! I'm constantly in awe of what our bodies can do. Such a blessing to make these for a momma I worked with a few years ago and again tonight.

The birth of a baby is a delicious mix of emotions. The smells, the tears, the laughter all form together to create a memory that will be with everyone for the rest of their lives. The patience it takes to let it come to fruition is sometimes maddening to muster but with the right support and Village you all get through it together. After a long break I was blessed to be a part of a village today and will hold it in my heart always. Happy birthday sweet girl you are absolutely worth the wait.
