🇺🇸 Farewell Message from Mayor Michele Randall 🇺🇸

As I conclude my term as your Mayor, I am filled with gratitude and pride for what we have accomplished together over the past 12 years. From serving 7 years on the St. George City Council to 5 years as Mayor, it has been an honor to serve our incredible community.

Here are some achievements we can all celebrate:

* Established the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument to honor our heroes.
* Built Fire Stations 1, 9 and 10 to enhance community safety.
* We are currently administering the voter-approved GO Bond, funding park refreshes, the Dixie Sunbowl renovation and many other things.
* Celebrated our heritage by establishing Dixie Days and secured historical status for the Sugarloaf.
* Introduced the Pioneer Park Interpretive Trail and secured funding for the Airport Tower.
* Achieved the highest funding levels for public safety.
* Oversaw a booming local economy, strengthening our community’s foundation.

This was a total team effort and I thank everyone who contributed to these as well as the many other things that make St. George the best city in Utah!

As I move on, I extend my warmest wishes to Jimmie Hughes. I'm confident that under his leadership, St. George will continue to thrive and grow.

Thank you for the journey. Our future is bright, and I’m excited to see where we go next.

🎉 Welcome to 2026, Valley! 🎉

Utah's first baby of the year arrived at 12:09 am! Valley Zohner made her grand entrance on January 1st, 2026, at Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital.

Valley weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and measured 20.5 inches.

What a beautiful way to start the new year! 🎊💕
