HEALER'S JOURNEY – Spring 2026

Step into the heart of Southeast Asia for a 21-day immersion into the medicine, culture, cuisine, and healing traditions of Thailand and Cambodia. This experience is designed for students, seekers, and anyone who feels called to reconnect with their purpose through travel, movement, and ancient wisdom.

• Chiang Mai temple tours, night markets, and a 2-day meditation retreat with monks
• Thai Farm cooking class
• 3 days of Table Thai Massage training
• Full-day visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary
• Domestic flights to Krabi, Ao Nang, and Siem Reap
• Island hopping, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and optional nightlife
• Admission and guided tour of Angkor Wat

Hey everyone! Just a quick peek behind the scenes of this past weekend’s Thai Massage training at Zion Massage College. It’s always such an honor to share my 32 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist with our students. They dove deep into the traditions, the history, the theory, and all those beautiful techniques from around the world. Honestly, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing them light up as they connect with these age-old practices and really get hands-on.

Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Utah Chapter Meet & Greet last night at Zion Massage College! It was wonderful connecting with so many passionate massage therapists, students, and graduates.

Special thanks to Ivan Thompson, AMTA Utah Chapter President, and Heber J. Blackner, Financial Administrator, for their inspiring leadership and for all they do to support massage therapists across Utah. I’m so grateful for their commitment—and for everyone involved with the AMTA who works tirelessly to elevate our profession.

Being part of AMTA means joining a community dedicated to education, advocacy, professionalism, and connection. It’s a reminder that together, we can continue to strengthen and grow the massage therapy field in Utah and beyond.

I’m sitting here this morning at a little outdoor café in Hoi An, Vietnam, sipping strong local coffee and watching as the town wakes up. Next to me are locals eating Ban Mi sandwiches. I’m not ready for food yet this morning; but, I could eat Vietnam’s incredible Ban Mi sandwiches everyday - soft, warm, chewy baguettes filled with the most incredible fusions of flavor that the world has to offer.

Yesterday, I vistited Bánh Mì Phượng a shop in Hoi An made famous by Anthony Bourdain’s visit here in 2009. The shop became incredibly popular after his visit; but, was later s**t down after a food poisoning incident. It’s back in business now and, I’m betting that the shut down likely increased the shop’s food safety standards. Anyway, the food was delicious! I can’t imagine a better Bánh Mì than what I had yesterday!

I’m in love with this country and the kindness, charm, chaos, flavor, health practices, and beauty that seems to be everywhere I look.
