Brian is 67.

Still pressing.
Still moving weight.
Still showing up.

Aging doesn’t mean backing off.
It means training intelligently.

Strength doesn’t expire.
It compounds.

This is what “aging into it” looks like!

Somewhere along the way people started believing this lie:

As you get older…
lift less.
move less.
slow down.
be careful.

That’s exactly how people get fragile.

Strength isn’t dangerous.
Being weak is.

Muscle protects joints.
Power prevents falls.
Intensity keeps you capable.

What changes with age isn’t effort.
It’s how intelligently you train.

Volume adjusts.
Recovery matters more.
Intent stays high.

You don’t age out of CrossFit.

You age into doing it right.

If you want to be strong at 50, 60, and 70…
this is how you train.

If CrossFit hasn’t felt right before… it wasn’t supposed to feel that way.

You shouldn’t feel judged.
You shouldn’t feel lost.
You shouldn’t feel like just another number.

You should feel coached.
You should feel seen.
You should feel like you belong.

That’s the culture we protect here.

If you’ve been thinking about trying CrossFit again, or for the first time…
DM us FOUNDATIONS and we’ll take care of you.

Just some raw clips of coaching, cheering and learning! It isn’t hype.It isn’t clapping from the sidelines.
It’s attention.It’s correction.
It’s actually caring if someone moves better today than yesterday.
This is what it looks like inside our gym every day.

Nothing fancy.Just coaching.
If you’ve been looking for this kind of environment, you’ll fit right in.

We shared some hard truths recently…and the response said a lot.

People aren’t leaving CrossFit because it’s “too hard.”

They leave when the environment stops feeling human.

This isn’t about calling anyone out.
It’s about calling the standard up.

Coaching matters.
Consistency matters.
Showing up for people matters.

This is the culture we protect. Every class. Every day.

This isn’t hate—it’s honesty.
CrossFit gyms are supposed to build people, not burn them out or push them away.
Some of these might hit close to home. That’s the point.

Meet our athletes 60-80 years old! Brian Hanline, Susie Wood, Howard Sepp and Audrey Ogden are our role models here at CFZ! Why? Longevity! They aren’t chasing PRs every day. They’re chasing… showing up!!!

Day after day.
Week after week.
Year after year.

Fitness in your 60s and 70s isn’t built by doing something extreme once in a while.
It’s built by stacking the little wins:
• Showing up when it’s easier to stay home
• Moving well
• Lifting smart
• Taking care of your body

That’s how strength lasts.
That’s how independence is earned.
That’s how you stay capable for life.

You’re never too old to start.
And you’re never too old to get better.

This is what lifelong fitness actually looks like.
And Brian and Susie are proving it every single day. 💪

Age is just a number.
Consistency is the real superpower .d.hanline

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY COACH CORI 🎉
From soccer fields and softball diamonds to gymnastics floors and the CrossFit floor — Cori has been an athlete her entire life. That foundation shows every single day she coaches.
Introduced to CrossFit at just 15, she bought into the work early and never looked back. Over a decade later, that same drive, discipline, and love for the process shows up in how she trains, how she coaches, and how she leads our members.
Coach Cori brings her A-game every class. She’s detailed, committed, and genuinely invested in helping people move better, get stronger, and believe in what they’re capable of.
We’re lucky to have her on the floor and in this community.
Give her some birthday love and make sure to thank her when you see her today. 🧡💪

We are not like everyone else… and that’s okay

CrossFit is different.

It’s not a treadmill with headphones on.

It’s not hiding in the back of a gym.

It’s showing up.
Learning new skills.
Getting stronger than you thought you could.

You’ll sweat more.
You’ll laugh more.
You’ll be coached, supported, and challenged.

Different doesn’t mean extreme.
Different means effective.
Different means you don’t have to do this alone.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel stronger…
more confident…
more capable in your everyday life

Come try CrossFit Zion

You don’t have to be different to start it
will help you become it!
