⭐️ITS SATURDAY⭐️
Today I want to take a minute to share my heart.
As a parent, we go through so many highs and lows, every parent does. With a child that is sick, the lows can seem so low, but the highs can also feel like the highest mountain top! As a parent of a sick child, I deal with moments where those lows can be all consuming. They take away any glimpse of good, and those moments seem to always win.
When those moments strike, I have had to teach myself (rewire my brain) to step back, look at the bigger picture, and know that the lows are temporary. I have to constantly remind myself that God is over those lows just as He is over the highs.
This song "Hills and Valleys" by Tauren Wells is one of those songs that I have on repeat in my car. It is such a great reminder that no matter our situation, that God is with us through those highest highs, and lowest lows.
It is a song about God’s grace being sufficient regardless of if you are experiencing blessing or hardship.
Take on today knowing that God is good in all things.
Philippians 4:6-7: "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand".
