Our retail pharmacy in St. Ignace announces temporary business hours effective thru May 2, 2026. They will be open Weekdays, 9am - 5:30pm and Weekends, 10am - 2pm. Thank you for your patience as they transition to a new business operations system.

*Winter Storm Updates (March 17)

Our Emergency Department at the Hospital remains open 24/7, and the Fast Care (Walk-in Clinic) is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The St. Ignace Medical Clinic is open today seeing primary care patients. Mackinac Straits Ambulatory Clinic is seeing patients upstairs for appointments with Dr. Moffat, Dr. Weistoffer, and Becky Becker, NP. Deb Griffin, NP is overseeing a limited number of infusions today at the Oncology Clinic.

Rivertown Medical Clinic in Cheboygan is planning to open today at noon. Mackinaw City Medical Clinic will remain closed today. Mackinac Island Medical Center will be open regular winter hours.

Straits Area Pharmacy (our retail pharmacy at the Hospital) is open with limited staff until at least 2:00 p.m. today.

MSHS Business Office (including Medical Records) will be open regular hours today.

*MSHS Winter Storm Update.

The Emergency Department at Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace remains open 24/7. Our Fast Care Walk-in Clinc is open every day, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The St. Ignace Medical Clinic opens at 8:00 a.m. for scheduled primary care patients. Mackinac Straits Ambulatory Clinic will be seeing scheduled patients on the second floor of the Hospital. Oncology Clinic will be doing infusions beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rivertown Medical Clinic in Cheboygan will be open at noon, Tuesday. The Mackinaw City Medical Clinic will remain closed for Tuesday, March 17. Mackinac Island Medical Clinic will be open regular winter hours.

Our retail pharmacy, Straits Area Pharmacy will be open limited hours on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with limited staff. Customers should be prepared for increased wait times.

Our main Business Office at the Hospital (which includes Medical Records) is planning to be open regular business hours.

*General rule during wintry weather is to call ahead to see if the office or clinic is open and see if your appointment is still on.

Due to extreme weather conditions expected over the next couple of days, Mackinac Straits Health System is rescheduling patients for non-essential services on Monday in St. Ignace, Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Mackinac Island Medical Center will be open their regular hours. Straits Area Pharmacy will be closed on Monday.

Our Emergency Department remains open 24/7 and our Fast Care Walk-in Clinic at Mackinac Straits Hospital is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7p.m.

Stay safe and if you absolutely have to venture out, please call ahead to make sure your destination is open, or your appointment is still happening.
