*Winter Storm Update

Due to extreme weather conditions expected over the next few days, Mackinac Straits Health System is rescheduling patients for non-essential services on Monday in St. Ignace, Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Mackinac Island Medical Center will be open their regular hours. Straits Area Pharmacy at the Hospital will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our Emergency Department remains open 24/7 and our Fast Care Walk-in Clinic at Mackinac Straits Hospital is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7p.m.

Stay safe and drive carefully during these stormy conditions. If you do have to venture out, please call ahead to make sure your destination is open, or your appointment is still happening.

It was another successful Hooping for a Cure in St. Ignace! Thanks to all those who supported the re-scheduled event, Wednesday night at LaSalle High School. Special shoutout to Engadine, St. Ignace and surrounding communities. Proceeds support the No Cancer Patient Left Behind program through the Mackinac Straits Health System.
