Venus Independent Living is hiring full and part-time direct care staff in Saint James. You would be working in an ISL (Individualized Supported Living) home supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities. These are home-like settings with 2-3 housemates with varying support needs.
We are looking for someone that is caring, reliable, and responsible. You must have dependable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and either a high school diploma or GED. If these apply to you then this could be a very rewarding job for you.
We offer:
Easy to use scheduling and documentation software. No handwritten documentation!
Paid every 2 weeks
Shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Holiday pay is double time for 10 holidays per year (including mother/fathers day)
Christmas bonus
Paid mileage reimbursement for miles driven while working
Supplemental Health insurance
Earned paid vacation time
No experience is required we will provide training.

Disability Rights Legislative Day was March 9. The President of the St. Louis Self-Advocates and St. Louis Arc Board Member, Michkeal Cross, emceed the rally and helped kick-off a day of opportunities to speak with legislators about what matters most to people with disabilities. We are so proud of all of our St. Louis Self-Advocates who attended, and talked to their legislators.
