Looking to add a Dental Assistant to our St. James and Bourbon location.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.

• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

• Perform various office tasks as necessary.

• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.

• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.

•Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
Minimum Requirements .

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

•Proven experience as dental assistant

•Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time front desk team member to join our dental office.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent multitasking skills, and demonstrate reliability. Prior front desk experience in a dental office is required. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients
• Registering new patients and updating existing patient information
• Answering multiple phone lines
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Verifying insurance benefits
• Calculating and collecting copays
• Following up on unpaid claims
• Sending correspondence to specialists
