Life House

We are proud to highlight Life House as an Excellence in Public Service finalist.

Life House is a faith-based nonprofit that helps men and women break free from homelessness, addiction, and incarceration by providing housing, discipleship, and pathways centered on spiritual development, community connection, and career advancement.

Jeffery Robert serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations, growth, and accountability across six campuses in Louisiana and Alabama. Life House currently provides 320 beds, with expansion efforts adding 150 more by 2026.

Life House is an engaged member of the Ascension Chamber, attending luncheons, sharing its mission on Chamber platforms, volunteering at events, and hosting a display booth. Chamber relationships have fostered partnerships, operational support, and community collaboration, strengthening Life House’s ability to serve men and women in need throughout the region.
