Most parents don’t know this. Most pediatricians don’t either — unless they dig into the official inserts.⚠️⚠️⚠️
So two babies, same “shot visit,” could have completely different aluminum exposures simply based on which brand their doctor’s office carries.☝🏻🩺
This is not about being for or against vaccines. It’s about being informed — as parents, and as colleagues.
When we say “DTaP shot,” we are usually not specifying which brand, yet brand choice can change exposure levels significantly.
💬 Comment BRAND and I’ll DM you a chart that breaks this down for the 2-month vaccines, showing aluminum amounts for both U.S. and European brands.
📤 Share this with:
A friend who has a newborn,
A parent who’s trying to decide between combo or single shots,
Or even a fellow pediatric colleague who may not realize the brand differences.
“Next, we’ll compare what happens when you give combo shots versus single shots — and why the total aluminum load can be very different.”
