It’s time to roll up your yoga mats and roll out the Santa spread - Christmas Eve is HERE!! Our abbreviated schedule for today is complete, and our studio is now CLOSED for the Christmas holiday. Thanks to all who came to class this morning and shared a little sweat and a lot of holiday cheer! We’ll see you back on your mats the day after tomorrow, Friday, December 26th when we re-open at 9:30am for Power YogaFlow with Dedric!!

Vin(o) to Yin with LIVE Piano Accompaniment is BACK next Thursday, January 1st, 2026! Join us for a non-heated, gentle slow flow leading into a dreamy restorative practice led by Caia, all while Jeremy plays some of your favorite covers as well as his beautiful original pieces on the piano🎹! And of course, there will be complementary glasses of wine🍷(we’ll have seltzer too), since Jeremy’s last name is Weinglass!! That’s got us thinking…maybe we should serve a little papaya too…🤔

What a SPECTACULAR morning at K9s for Warriors!! Together, our Yoga Warriors practiced the yoga, toured the grounds, met the dogs, and reached the fundraising goal we’d set to donate $1000 to this wonderful cause! Thank you to all of our yogis for supporting this life-changing organization - for veterans and for rescue dogs, and thank you to Dan, Karen, Stephanie, and EVERYONE at for welcoming us onto your Nocatee campus!! Few things feel as good as bringing people together to do some good in the world!! Our hearts are bursting with gratitude! Thank you!!!

When Dedric flew to Utah last week, he could have waved from his airplane window across the sky to Maggie, who was on her way back from there to spend the holidays with her family - AND WITH US!!! In case you haven’t checked the schedule, this beloved, amazing, spectacular senior teacher who moved away this year, in search of new adventures, is teaching the 9:30am Power YogaFlow class TOMORROW (Friday December 19) - you don’t want to miss this!! We don’t know if/when we’ll get her on the schedule otherwise, so reserve your spot and prepare to meet your neighbor! This class will fill up!! Welcome back (for now) Maggie!!! We’ve missed you!!!

Today was the due date for returning Giving Tree gifts back to the studio, and as we take inventory of ALLLLLL the gifts 🎁 you have so generously provided for 100 local children, we are missing 3️⃣ tags. Out of 100, that’s not so bad!!

Tags #25, #37, and #40 are not at the studio, were not signed out, and thus have no gifts. If you got so excited to go shopping for one of these sweet children that you forgot to sign it out - PLEASE let us know!! If you’re still shopping and plan to return gifts, FANTASTIC! (Tomorrow please?!) If not, we need to get shopping ourselves, so that EVERY child has presents under the tree, and a magical holiday! THANK YOU!!!

Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends and yogis lighting the menorah this week! Our thoughts are with you following this weekend’s tragic events in Bondi Beach, threatening to overshadow the Festival of Lights. We send you our light (and love), if yours feels dim. Find the light. Share the light. Spread the light, far and bright. And if the world seems dark, never forget, YOU are the light.

Our Story

Hot Spot Power Yoga is THE HOT SPOT for Yoga in Jacksonville! We offer Baptiste Power Yoga classes for all levels, so whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you will feel right at home at our studios. We have 4 studio locations for our clients to go between. Our teachers are dedicated to see each student grow and to facilitate a healthy environment for all to flourish.

In addition to providing classes seven days a week, we offer several Transformational Programs such as the 21 Day Cleanse, 40 Days to Personal Revolution, Life Transformation Program - a 200 hour RYT Teacher Training Program. In between our classes and workshops, you can expect a total transformation in your body, your way of thinking, and the way you approach life! We offer kids yoga workshops as well as specialty classes like prenatal yoga and Restorative Yoga. Our community is vibrant and the only missing piece is you!

The entire Hot Spot Team has been dedicated to bringing Baptiste Power Yoga to the city of Jacksonville since 2011. Each instructor at Hot Spot is passionate and dedicated to offering a challenging and compassionate class where you will build strength, gain flexibility, quiet your mind, and nourish your soul.
