🧐Curious minds want to know — and we’re always here to help answer your questions!
✨One of the more common questions we’re asked is: “If I’m sick, can I use the HALO IR?”
Here’s what you should know:
The HALO IR HaloSauna system is built with multiple layers of natural and engineered protection that create an environment highly unfavorable for viral or bacterial survival.
• Salt therapy is naturally antiviral and antibacterial, helping cleanse the air within the sauna.
• The dry infrared warmth creates conditions that make it difficult for most bacteria and viruses to survive or replicate.
• Red light therapy has been shown in some cases to help deactivate certain microorganisms.
• And of course, we follow all recommended cleaning and sanitation procedures between every client, exactly as instructed by the manufacturer.
These layers work together to create a clean, low-risk environment that we maintain with great care. While no wellness system can promise 100% elimination of microbes, we take every practical step to ensure a safe, comfortable experience for everyone.
We also encourage regular, preventative sessions—typically 2–3 times per week—to help support your immune system, reduce toxin load, and clear excess mucus from the lungs, which may help lower your overall risk of illness.
That said, we want to be both realistic and protective of all clients:
✓ A mild cough, throat tickle, occasional sneeze, or seasonal congestion is okay—these can come from allergies, dryness, pregnancy, dust, or simple irritation.
✗ If you’ve had a fever within the last 24–48 hours, or you’re actively ill with something potentially contagious, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.
Your safety and comfort will always come first.
You can feel confident knowing:
• We follow strict sanitation procedures
• We hold a high standard of cleanliness
• The HaloSauna environment itself is designed to minimize risk
• And we communicate openly so you can make informed wellness decisions
