Game Night is happening at Recovery Worx!

Join us every second Saturday of the month from 2–4 PM for a relaxed afternoon of connection, laughter, and friendly competition.
We’ll have co****le, darts, board games, and plenty of good vibes.
We also will have "Mafia" and "The Rule Game" running.

February and April will be on the third Saturday instead, so mark those calendars.
All are welcome—bring a friend or just bring yourself. This is a space to unwind, meet new people, and remember that recovery can be fun, too.

If you have a child and are in need of a bed please visit Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MI, Lansing. They come to your home and will assemble a twin wooden bed frame and provide a brand new mattress, bed in a bag and pillow. It’s fast and easy with no income requirements. This is a free service and they also do bunk beds!

Happy New Year from all of us at Recovery Worx!

As we step into a new year, we want to pause and say thank you… not just for the holiday cards, but for an entire year of support. Because of this community, EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the Clinton County Jail received a Christmas card this season. Every one.

That project, and so much of what we were able to do in 2025, happened because people showed up. Through donations, encouragement, sharing our work, volunteering, and believing in what we’re building, you helped turn ideas into real impact.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported Recovery Worx throughout 2025. Here’s to another year of compassion, connection, and continuing to show up for the people who need it most.

Thanks to an incredible amount of community generosity during our coat drive, we have winter items available for anyone in need 🤍

We’re opening this up weekly so more people have a chance to come by.

This month, Recovery Worx is putting together handwritten holiday cards for every person inside the Clinton County Jail.

Not because we know their stories. Not because we know exactly what they’ve been through. But because every human being deserves to feel a little warmth during the coldest time of year.

The holidays shine brightly for some… and feel painfully quiet for others. There are people in our own community who won’t get a single card, phone call, or reminder that someone out here is thinking of them. Sometimes all it takes is one small message to lift a heavy heart and remind someone they’re still part of this world.

If you want to help us bring some light into a place that doesn’t always get much of it:

$5 = 1 card
$10 = 3 cards
$250 = half the cards we need
$500 = the whole project

All donations go directly to our GiveButter account.
And if you’d like to come in and write a card yourself — maybe a message of peace, hope, courage, or prayer — our doors are open. No charge, but donations accepted.

Our hearts are so full today. ☃️❄️

Thank you to every single person who took the time to donate coats, gloves, hats, socks, winter gear, and food. The turnout has been incredible, and it shows just how deeply this community cares for one another.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to Jet's Pizza for donating bags and bags of scarves, socks, and other winter items. also to Family Farm and Home for donating large boxes of socks and hats, and to Clinton County Medical Center for providing three full boxes of coats. Your generosity makes such a real impact.

Because of all of you, we’re able to get these items directly into the hands of people who need them most this winter!!

Just a reminder, our first giveaway is this Saturday, December 13th, from 11:30am–3pm, and we’re excited to continue getting these items out into the community.

We are looking for a seamstress or someone who does custom alterations.
We have a young girl in a wheelchair who needs a dress made in a way that fits her body comfortably and works well with her chair. Looking for someone patient, kind, and able to accommodate special fitting needs.
