As we step into the last month of the year, I hope you’re finding small pockets of softness—a quiet breath inward, a moment of rest, a gentle reminder that you don’t have to move through this season alone. December can bring so much tenderness, and my hope is that Heart Space continues to feel like an anchor for you.

Our last sound healing of the year, and the very first one in our new home at Creative Healing & Fitness in Lyndonville. The Cold Moon invites stillness, reflection, and deep replenishment — a beautiful time to soften your edges and let yourself be held. Sound baths are for everyone. You don’t need any experience, and there’s nothing to “do.” Simply arrive as you are, settle in, and let the resonance of the bowls and gongs wash the stress right out of your system.

Heart Space Is Moving — December 15
In case you missed the official message, we are permanently moving from Fitness Unbound in St. Johnsbury to Creative Healing & Fitness in Lyndonville. Our new class schedule begins December 15 (you can view the changes now on FitDegree and by the 15th on the website).

The longest night of the year invites us to slow down, gather close, and honor the return of the light. Marci is leading a deeply nourishing evening of chanting, meditation, and shared stillness at Creative Healing & Fitness.
This is a beginner-friendly, heart-opening space where voices come together in simple chants and gentle presence. A beautiful way to root into community and spirit during a sacred time of year.

Somatic Sessions Are Open Again
I’ve opened my schedule back up for somatic coaching and somatic breathwork sessions for anyone who needs a deeper level of support during what can be an emotional, overwhelming season. This work is powerful — grounding, clarifying, and healing — and it’s offered with so much care to help support you in any way that you need.

Last weekend, we closed the circle on this year’s Yoga Teacher Training. I am so proud of this you all—the courage, the curiosity, the openness each of you brought to every moment. We laughed until it spilled through us, we cried , we held space for one another in ways that will stay with me forever. I look forward to seeing what you do in the world with your gifts. You have so much to offer. ♥

To anyone who has ever felt the pull to share yoga in a way that honors the body, the heart, and the whole human experience, know that the path is opening again. Our next training begins in April 2026, with new opportunities for learning, growth, and certification. This is an invitation to step forward when the time is ready. Namaste.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been sharing pieces of a story — about healing, resistance, courage, and the quiet call to become who you’re meant to be.

That story is coming to life now, as a small, beautiful group prepares to begin the Somatic Depths Practitioner Certification on November 19.

This is a 9-month journey of embodied healing and professional transformation — a place to learn the language of the nervous system, to hold trauma-sensitive space for others, and to come home to your own body in the process.

We’ll meet live on Wednesdays (6–7:30 PM on Zoom), with replays available, plus optional breathwork sessions, one-on-one somatic sessions with Andrea, and community gatherings that weave learning with connection and joy.

If you’ve felt the pull — even softly — this is your moment to listen.
VSAC grants are still open for eligible Vermont residents, and we’re committed to making this program accessible and supportive.

Join us TOMORROW for our Full Moon Sound Bath – Wednesday, November 5th at 6 PM at our BAY STREET location (515 Bay Street, St Johnsbury, in the Ralston Mills building)✨🌕

The Beaver Moon marks the time when the earth begins to quiet, and we’re invited to do the same — to gather what we need for the winter ahead and build the inner warmth that sustains us. It’s a moon of preparation, protection, and deep rest. 🍂🕯️

Our Full Moon Sound Bath is a beautiful way to honor that rhythm. You don’t need to do anything — just come as you are, settle in, and let waves of sound from crystal bowls, gongs, and other instruments wash over you. The vibrations work gently through the body, helping the nervous system unwind and the heart find stillness. 💛

Sound baths are for everyone — completely beginner-friendly and a beautiful act of self-care. Bring anything that helps you feel cozy (a blanket, pillow, or even your favorite socks!) and give yourself the gift of rest.

As we “fall back” this weekend, giving ourselves an extra hour of rest, it’s a perfect moment to slow down and check in with your body and mind.

Try this gentle practice to ease the transition:
- Wake Up Slowly: Take a few deep breaths before getting out of bed, noticing how your body feels.
- Gentle Stretch: Reach your arms overhead, roll your shoulders, and twist slowly side to side.
- Grounding Breath: Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and inhale for 4, exhale for 6—letting your body adjust to the rhythm of the season.
- Mindful Pause: Take a quiet moment to set an intention for the week ahead, honoring your energy and pace.

Today, we honor Día de los Mu***os, a sacred time to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed. This Mexican tradition is rooted in love, memory, and the understanding that those we have lost remain a part of us.

Tonight, whether you’re curling up with a warm drink, wandering through autumn leaves, or sharing candy with little ghosts and witches, take a few breaths to connect with yourself. A simple stretch, a slow twist, or even a playful yoga pose can be a little moment of magic for your body and heart.

We know our community is full of cat lovers (and probably a few sneaky feline yoga assistants 😸). Today, we’re celebrating our whiskered friends and all the little moments they bring into our lives—purring, stretching, and reminding us to take a nap whenever possible.

There’s a story I’ve been thinking about lately…

A woman stood at the edge of a great forest. Somewhere beyond the trees was a well of clear water — a spring said to bring wisdom, healing, and truth. But between her and that water lived dragons.

Some said they breathed fire.
Some said they whispered lies.
Some said they’d swallow her whole.

So she stayed where it felt safe — until her longing to know herself grew louder than her fear.

When she finally stepped into the forest, she discovered something she hadn’t expected: the dragons weren’t there to destroy her. They were there to test her.

Each one was a different kind of fear:
the fear of being seen,
the fear of not being enough,
the fear of what might change if she actually healed.

And as she faced them, she found that what lived beneath the fire was her own heartbeat — her own aliveness, waiting to be reclaimed.

Resistance isn’t a sign you’re on the wrong path.
It’s a sign you’re standing at the threshold of something that matters.

This is what we practice inside Somatic Depths — learning to breathe with our dragons instead of fighting them. To meet resistance not as an enemy, but as a doorway into truth, compassion, and real transformation.

So if your fear is shouting “wait” but your body whispers “yes”… maybe this is your invitation to pause, breathe, and listen again.

Your fear is trying to keep you safe.
Your longing is trying to help you grow.

Let the longing lead, love.
