Dry sauna vs infrared sauna 👇
While an infrared sauna will warm you up, it is not a “true” sauna. Traditional Finnish saunas use a heater with stones to produce much higher temperatures than infrared. Water is poured over the hot stones to produce and increase humidity, which then leads to intense sweating.
The steam increases the overall temperature, opens up the pores, and enhances the experience AND the benefits.
While it is still a matter of preference, if you’re looking for a true, sauna experience, a dry sauna is the way to go!
