I’ve been flooded with calls and texts about Cafe Belle Epoque and Chocolat St. Joe announcing their sudden closure.

Yes, Clean Alchemy is still open, except for this weekend, because it was kind of a mess last year with St. Pats partakers coming in only wanting to use the bathroom. No judgment, get your drink on 🍀.

But, for full transparency, none of these business closures are sudden. Ninety percent of business Clean Alchemy does is outside of St. Joseph. Wholesaling across the country, private label products for bridal and corporate gifting, and visitors from out of town. We are a manufacturer of goods, and I can assure you that I hustle every morning, well into every evening, getting this brand out into the world.

Every town has its issues, and not supporting local businesses seems to be one of ours.
To those of our hardcore supporters, I’m beyond grateful. I can’t actually articulate how grateful I am to you. Whether you shop here, shop online, like or share posts, or post our products on your own socials, every single one of these things keeps us in business.

Please eat, shop, and drink in your community. The big box and chains will always be fine, but they will be the only businesses left if you don’t support small. ❤️
