We believe in the health and economic benefits of local food. We support many local farmers, watermen, and other producers and pay fair-market prices (or better) for their products. Our goal is to find new and innovative ways of connecting local food producers with steady markets, while at the same time considering the ecological consequences of food production. With your support, we hope to continue building a local, sustainable food production network in Southern Maryland that is both ecologically-sound and economically-viable.

Fresh bread is out and ready! Here is a quick look at the bread station each loaf is dusted one by one, cut, added to a cast iron pot and then thrown into a 500 degree oven.

We are finally open again on this bright sunny day! The Bounty Bakery and Kitchen is cooking and our shelves are stocked with fresh produce, seafood, dairy and more! Plenty of dry firewood as well.

No matter the weather, our dairy cows must be milked! We had a nice, slow 25 minute drive from our house to the Bounty this morning. The store is in good shape and the cows are happy. Hope everyone is warm and safe and stays off the roads unless, like us, you have no choice.

Surprise!
Soft Shell Clams (manoes) are available today in limited supply.

Plenty of fresh baked Sourdough bread this morning with our new improved recipe! Its selling fast!

Creamline milk, farm fresh eggs, fresh produce and more all in good supply thanks to our amazing local food network!

We have plenty of firewood as well.

We are open until 6pm today but will be closed Sunday January 25 due to the winter storm.

Winter Storm Updates!
We will be open regular hours today and Saturday. We will be closed on Sunday and probably also Monday.
Our local growers and harvesters have been hard at work to keep us stocked with foods ahead of the storm.
Shout out to Moo Cow Creamery for bottling extra milk for us today!
We have plenty of farm fresh dairy, eggs, produce and meats!
The Bounty Bakery ovens are working overtime to keep bread on the shelves, well as many other baked goods like quiche and pizzas.
We have plenty of firewood and straw in stock. Please be aware that the firewood is not well seasoned as our stockpile of seasoned wood is gone.
The Food Share fridge is well stocked if anyone is in need of free food.
We hope everyone stays warm and safe this weekend.

The bakery is staying busy! The fridges are stocked with white chocolate mousse, muffins, truffles, scones and so much more! We are rolling out new bread, we have started experimenting with baking the bread in cast iron pots, this will leave the bread more moist for longer and give the crust a nice crunch!
