This paper is so important.

This multi-site study looked at patients treated with modern LASIK using femtosecond laser flaps and the WaveLight EX500. The findings showed high patient satisfaction, low dry eye symptom scores, and minimal glare, halos, and starbursts at night about 1 year after LASIK.

This adds to the evidence behind the effectiveness and quality of modern LASIK—and helps dispel fear-mongering myths that have lingered since the early pioneer days of the procedure.
