A recent multi-site study on LASIK shows strong results in vision quality paired with thoughtful screening for dry-eye risk. At OVO LASIK + LENS, your personalized exam means we’re committed to both clarity and comfort.

Modern LASIK is not the LASIK of 25 years ago.

With today’s femtosecond laser flap creation and upgraded excimer ablation profiles, the procedure is safer, more precise, and delivers better outcomes than the early pioneer days of LASIK—yet outdated dry eye and night-vision statistics are still often quoted.

In this 4-center U.S. study, patients one year after LASIK on a modern excimer platform had OSDI dry-eye scores in the normal-eye range.

95% of patients were “completely or very satisfied” with their vision— and none were dissatisfied.
