In 2013, a family walked into our Playhouse grand opening, ready to volunteer after hearing about our mission on the radio. That family was the Housemans.

Over the past 12 years, Nancy and her family have led incredible programs like Drama Troupe, On The Go, and our Adult Education Pathway. The thousands of hours Nancy has selflessly dedicated—not just to our Playhouse, but to our participants—have made a lasting impact. She’s always the first to jump in and support whatever initiative comes her way.

Last night, at GiGi’s Annual Leadership Conference, Nancy Houseman was named the GiGi’s Playhouse National Volunteer of the Year, and we couldn’t be more proud. Nancy, thank you for everything you’ve given to GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities. We are so honored to have you as part of our community!💙💛
