We are offering a new class at FITSPACE!

Join personal trainer, Lisa Fisher, on Thursdays at 4:30 pm for a half hour of a HIIT work out.

A HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workout alternates short, intense bursts of exercise (80–95% maximum heart rate) with short recovery periods of rest or light activity. These sessions boost metabolism, burn high calories quickly, and improve cardiovascular health, often burning fat faster than steady-state cardio.

The first class will be held on Thursday, April 9th. All fitness levels are welcome. The cost for each class is $25. Max number of participants per class is 10.

All classes will be held at FITSPACE located at:

FITSPACE is excited to announce that we will be offering monthly workshops to our community starting this month! Each workshop will discuss a specific topic regarding health and fitness and will be run by FITSPACE trainers.

Our first workshop is Lifestyle Medicine and will be led by Lifestyle and Wellness Coach, Deb White. The workshop will be on Wednesday, March 25 from 6-7:30 pm. The cost of the workshop is $55.

When we dropped the food off at VEAP, the volunteer told us that they are receiving so many donations right now, and that it was all getting put to good use.

He was very grateful for our donation and wanted to make sure that we let our FITSPACE community know that the donations are very much appreciated and needed.

WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENSE WORKSHOP

Calling all females 14+ to join FITSPACE trainer Travis Engstrom in his Women's Self-Defense Workshop. This workshop focuses on learning personal safety tips in a supportive, active environment. Be ready to feel empowered by learning practical skills to navigate day-to-day situations with more awareness and confidence knowing how to protect yourself. Participants should wear athletic clothing and do not wear jewelry.

Main Aspects:
Situational Awareness: How to avoid potential threats.

Practical Strikes: Simple techniques that don’t require prior martial arts experience but are proven and effective for self-defense.

Escape Tactics: How to break holds and grips.

Vocal Strength: Using verbal tactics to help de-escalate situations.

Some great information was sent to your email inbox today! Our last November health series seminar is Wednesday at 6pm. We will be hosting a large group workout at 9 AM on Thanksgiving, donations to VEAP accepted. A new mobility class will be added to the class calendar on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM. A new Group Health Coaching class will be offered every first and third Tuesday of every month from 6:30-7:30pm beginning on December 2. This class is a drop-in class and participants can show up the night of the class or sign up online. This time of year brings a heightened risk of illness, as viruses that cause the common cold and flu thrive in cooler, less humid conditions. Registered Dietitian, Alex Shepp, provided advice to help strengthen your immune system to minimize your chances of falling sick. Mark your calendar for November 28 to December 2. FITSPACE clients will receive a total of 20% off supplement orders (10% discount for FITSPACE clients plus an additional 10% off for this promotion).
