Happy Birthday to all of our Fb Friends with October birthdays! We celebrated our staff and participants’ birthdays for this month with cake and candles on Friday. Next, we watched a short video about leaves turning colors in the Fall. Then, we used dried beans to make a colorful Fall mobile. Thanks to the Glitter and Glue Gang - Marlene, Nanette, Betty, and Deirdre - for your help.

Today was a beautiful day to work in our fall garden! Ms. Monique Mcbride stopped by and helped us get everything in order. We planted new life, sang, danced, and soaked up the sunshine together.

She even brought a special angel in memory of our dear friend Roy, a heartfelt gesture that meant so much to all of us. 🤍🕊️

We’re so grateful for Ms. Monique and the love she shared with us today. ❤️

The Arc of St. Martin is honored to be selected as a recipient of the Home Bank Helps grant, an incredible program that’s 100% employee funded and directed.

Last week, Brie Capritto and Paula Sonnier proudly accepted the donation at Home Bank’s Lafayette headquarters, where a diverse group of schools, nonprofits, and community organizations gathered to celebrate over $60,000 in awards.

It’s Fall! We celebrated our September birthdays with cake and candles last Friday. Happy Birthday to all September birthdays. A pumpkin patch was what we needed to get into the Fall spirit. After watching a video showing pumpkins growing from seeds, we sampled some roasted pumpkin seeds. Then, we stuffed paper bags, painted, added embellishments, and a PUMPKIN PATCH was created. Thank you to our volunteers - The Glitter and Glue Gang - Marlene Castex, Nanette Gooch, Dawn Latiolais, Betty Ardoin, and Deirdre Robertson.

It’s that time of year again! We had the pleasure of welcoming back the ULL nursing students for an engaging afternoon filled with bingo, exercise, and dancing. Their energy, compassion, and enthusiasm lit up the room and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
