🌿☀️ Fresh Air + Sweet Dreams = The Best Kind of Day at ABC ☀️🌿

Today our preschoolers took nap time outside… and it was nothing short of magical 💚

At ABC Daycare, we are always looking for ways to bring more to our days more fresh air, more movement, and more meaningful experiences for our kiddos. There is something so special about slowing down, listening to the breeze, and resting peacefully in the outdoors. What a wonderful way to get to enjoy some high 60° weather!

Outdoor naps can support relaxation, improve mood, and give children a chance to reset in a calm, natural environment And don’t worry…our team always ensures proper supervision, safety, and ratios are maintained every step of the way. 🌱

Moments like these may look simple, but they are just a small glimpse into the thought, care, and intention we pour into each day here. It’s about creating a childhood filled with comfort, exploration, and connection to the world around us 💛

We love being able to offer experiences like this to our ABC families and we’re just getting started ✨

📚 Thank You, St. Marys Public Library!

Today our ABC Daycare preschool class had the opportunity to spend part of their nap time enjoying some quiet exploration and play at the St. Marys Public Library, and we are so grateful for the warm welcome!

A special thank you to the library staff for helping our children get signed up for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. We are so excited to introduce this wonderful literacy opportunity to our preschoolers and families.

Reading and early literacy are such an important part of childhood, and we’re looking forward to incorporating library visits into our regular rotation of summer activities. Getting our kids out into the community while building a love of books is something we truly value.

We are so incredibly thankful for our friends at Rick’s Doughboys for always welcoming our chaos. Whether we show up with 15 kiddos or 40! 🙈😂 You greet us with open arms, big smiles, and the most delicious pizza every single time.

Not only did our preschool class enjoy an amazing lunch, but they also practiced some important life skills ordering politely, using manners, sitting appropriately at a restaurant, and learning how to dine out in our community. Experiences like this help build confidence and independence in such meaningful ways.

After filling our bellies, we headed over to Fitness Fun to burn off all that pizza energy and beat the winter blues! ❄️🏃‍♂️ It was the perfect afternoon.

This right here is our favorite part about living in a small, local community. So many businesses are willing to join in our chaos and help expose our children to wonderful, real-world life experiences. We are beyond grateful to be raising and teaching our kiddos in a town that supports its families the way ours does.

We love supporting and sharing trusted local businesses with our ABC Daycare families. Some parents have asked about gentle chiropractic care for infants, especially for little ones who seem uncomfortable or extra fussy. There’s also families out there that don’t even know that this wonderful resources an option!

Our school-age crew had an absolute BLAST today at Fitness Fun! 🎉

With winter blues in full swing, this indoor gym was the perfect place for our kids to move, jump, and burn off some pent-up energy. From trampolines and bounce houses to the fitness climbing wall and so many other awesome activities, there was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and nonstop motion today! 🤸‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We are so grateful to have such a fun, engaging, and kid-friendly space right here in our community. A huge THANK YOU to Fitness Fun for providing an amazing outlet for our school-age kids to stay active and have fun especially during the colder months. 💙

What a day with our School Kids! 🤩

We kicked off the morning with an exciting trip to the trampoline park where the kids spent two full hours jumping, laughing, and burning off energy. After all that fun, we enjoyed a well earned pizza lunch 🍕 before heading back toward home 🏡

To make an already amazing day even sweeter, we wrapped things up with a stop at Sweet Frog for frozen yogurt treats 🍦💚

Days like today are exactly why we love what we do. This was a wonderful start to our School Kid program, and it’s only the beginning of an exciting, adventure-filled 2026. We can’t wait for all that’s ahead! ✨🎒

We have ONLY 2 openings in our School Kid Room for summer care at ABC Daycare!

📅 Days: Monday, Thursday & Friday ( you do not need to claim all three days to enroll school kids)
⏰ Hours: Flexible scheduling from 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
💵 Cost: $30 per day
🍳🥪🍎 Includes breakfast, lunch & snack

🎒 Eligibility Requirement:
This classroom is for school-age children who have completed kindergarten during the most recent school year.

🌞 Som of these summer Adventures Include:
• Local Fishing trip
• Local park days
• Local movie theater trips
• Parker Dam day
• Elk Visitor Center tour
• Altoona Curve baseball game
• And so much more!

🚐 Some field trips may include an additional fees to cover admission, transportation,etc.

💳 We accept private pay and work with childcare subsidy programs.
