Lou and Monica Radkowski have spent a lifetime serving others with quiet compassion and unwavering integrity. This month marks 50 years since they made this town their home, purchasing Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home and building not only a trusted family business, but also lasting relationships rooted in care, dignity, and service.

Known for their selflessness and modest nature, they worked tirelessly behind the scenes—offering comfort in times of loss and support in moments of need. Together, they became a steady and reassuring presence in the community, contributing far beyond their profession. Alongside their life’s work, Lou and Monica built a family they are deeply proud of, raising six children, welcoming their spouses, and cherishing 20 grandchildren who reflect the same values of love, faith, and service.

As they celebrate 50 years in Elk County, their legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and deep commitment—to both their community and the family they love.

That legacy continues at Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. through their long-standing staff members, many of whom have worked alongside the Radkowski family for years and share the same values of compassion, professionalism, and quiet dedication.

Today, that commitment is carried forward under the leadership of their son, Jeff Radkowski, President, who works alongside his family and staff to uphold the tradition of service rooted in respect and care.
