Just want to congratulate our walktober participants and winners, we appreciate all those who signed up and participated. Here are our winners

2nd Kylon Keja - 43,349 = 19.7 miles
3rd Mallory Yankton - 35,207 = 16.5 miles

We are hoping to make this an annual event in October so mark your calendars for next year!

Please note: Tribal offices are closed today in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day and will reopen tomorrow (Oct. 14) at 8:00 a.m.

Don’t forget to join us for the Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow tonight at the Crow Hill Recreation Center, sponsored by SLT Spirit Comes Back Program and Spirit Lake Senior Services.

Come dance, celebrate, and honor our cultures together! 🪶

October's Native Fresh Recipe is.......
Pumpkin bread! 🙂🍞. There are already some good reviews!

We will have 10 bags with all pre-measured ingredients available for pick up tomorrow.

It is first-come, first-serve.

Our offices are now located in the instructor wing of CCCC by the GED/Adult Education area. Message if you need assistance finding the offices!

All who recieve a bag must complete the recipe by the end of the month and send us a picture of your loaf.

Don't fret if you don't get a bag, you can still use your own ingredients and send us a picture of your bread by the end of the month.

All who complete will have a chance of winning one of two prizes!!! Look for a separate post for the step-by-step baking instructions.
