Beginning today at 0800 hours, your ambulance service will start deploying a crew in Portage on Mountain Avenue during peak periods. This does not take a crew away from the St.Michael this adds an additional crew to the entire service area.

Today, your ambulance attended the open house for the Forest Hills Senior Activity Center where we had free blood pressure and pulse ox screenings for the attendees

It is Child Passenger Safety Week!

Car seat safety is so important for the well being of your little ones in the event of an accident. Today Gallitzin Fire Company will be holding a free car seat inspection event.

We also have our own Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Sarah is available by appointment to help with installations, inspections, and to answer car seat questions all year long. All of her services are free.

Car seat inspections will be conducted at our station, 210 Saint Thomas Street, on September 23, 2025, from 3-6:30 PM, courtesy of The Pennsylvania State Police and Gallitzin Fire Co.

Thank you to South Fork Volunteer Fire Company for having us today at their 1st annual Car Show!
Great turn out!!

Congrats to all the winners in their classes!

We were able to keep 2 ALS crews in station, as well as our squad on standby for the Portage PeeWee games.

For the last few weeks we have provided standby coverage for “The Stallions” peewee football games. 🏈 💚🤍

We were glad to help out and hoping to cheer these kids on during playoffs!

We were honored tonight to provide EMS coverage to both Forest Hills and Portage varsity games this evening.

The Rangers had their yearly tailgate and youth night tonight to recognize the youth football players and elementary cheerleaders! 💚💛📣🏈

The Mustangs started the night out with a parade to celebrate Homecoming and the crowning of their first ever Homecoming King! 💚🤍👸🫅

Good luck to both teams for the next half of their games!
