Working out is a necessity for living a long, healthy life—but it doesn’t have to leave you drenched in sweat or breathing heavily every time.

To keep your body (the only one you’ll ever have) in the best shape as you age and move through life, the key is simple: keep moving.

Go for a walk (maybe inside today 🥶), try a YouTube workout, dance to your favorite song, or check out the 8-week program your wonderful PTs at Crossover PT put together—especially if you’re not sure where to start.

Ten years ago, Mike Simon opened the doors to Crossover Physical Therapy with one goal in mind—to help the St. Michael–Albertville community and surrounding areas feel and move better.

From a small plywood office in the back of EffectUs Athletics to where Crossover is today, it’s been an incredible journey built on care, commitment, and community.

Regular exercise helps improve strength, mobility, balance, and confidence, while reducing aches, stiffness, and injury risk. It’s not about going all out—it’s about moving consistently and smartly.

That’s why we created the Crossover PT 8-Week Program. It’s designed for everyone—whether you’re coming off physical therapy, getting back into a routine, or just looking for a structured way to move more.

The program gradually builds week to week, helping you gain strength and confidence without overdoing it. Modify as needed, listen to your body, and progress at your own pace.

Yes.�Not “walk in from the parking lot” warm-up.�A real warm-up.

Warming up helps your body get ready for the harder stuff coming in your workout—and helps keep those “why does this hurt?” moments away.

To kick off the Crossover to Health Program, we’re sharing our go-to general warm-up. It hits multiple areas, requires no equipment, and preps your body to move better.

Think of it as telling your muscles,�“Hey… we’re about to do something.” 👀💪

🎉 It’s finally here!�The 8-week program we’ve been talking about is now available—check it out via the link in the comments!

Last year, we released our first 8-week program. This new program is a follow-up, with movements that are a little more challenging to help you continue building strength and confidence.

This program is designed for individuals who have finished formal physical therapy and are ready to gradually increase their exercise over an 8-week timeframe. It begins with 3 workouts per week and progresses up to 6 days per week by the end.

Everyone’s needs are different, so feel free to modify exercises—make them easier, harder, or swap them out as needed. Our hope is that this program serves as a springboard to help you challenge yourself after PT… or even if you haven’t had PT yet.
