🎤 Speaker Spotlight!
Introducing our next 2026 MSRC Winter Workshop presenter:

Julie Jackson, BAS, RRT, RRT-ACCS, RCP

Topic:
➡️ “Utilization and Implementation of High Flow Therapy in the Emergency Department”

With 29 years of RT experience, Julie brings a deep clinical and leadership background to our speaker lineup. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotions and spent 26 years at UnityPoint Health Des Moines, where she served as Manager of Respiratory Care and led the ECMO team across five hospitals.

Julie has also authored and co-authored numerous publications on high flow therapy, focusing on improving patient outcomes and strengthening the health of the organization.

Since she’s joining us from Iowa, we kindly let her know:
Minnesota “cold” and Iowa “cold” are two very different sports. ❄️🏅
We can’t wait to welcome her to the Winter Workshop!

🎤 Meet Our First Speaker!
We’re excited to welcome Kellie Carroll, MPA, RRT, RRT-NPS, AE-C, C-ELBW to the 2026 MSRC Winter Workshop!

Kellie will be presenting:
➡️ “Excellence Defines Us – An Update from the NBRC”

With 15 years of experience as a respiratory therapist, Kellie plays a key role at the NBRC as the Assessment Coordinator, partnering with volunteers nationwide to develop CMP assessments. She also serves as a staff consultant for the AE-C, NPS, and Clinical Simulation Exam committees.

Kellie brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience, including her time as Vice President of the Missouri Society for Respiratory Care. She continues to care for patients at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City.

We’re especially excited she’s joining us all the way from Kansas City… where the snow usually melts in a reasonable amount of time.

These complimentary CRCE courses are designed to help you understand a study’s research question, design, main results, and implications for patient care.
