I had the privilege of using my company to assist MHA members at Powwow Grounds with obtaining their tribal identification — work that is meaningful, necessary, and rooted in community care.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, respect, and a true sense of belonging. The way MHA members showed kindness and unity made the space feel like family, and it was an honor to be trusted to support such important work.
With everything currently happening in Minneapolis surrounding ICE, being present in a space that centered protection, dignity, and togetherness was powerful. The strength of the community and the quiet solidarity shown during this time left a lasting impression.
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the welcome extended to me. Experiences like this reinforce why community-centered work matters and why showing up with integrity is so important. 🤍 Pow-wow grounds
