Single Mamas and Moms Who Feel Single—can you relate?
At my worst, I was running on caffeine and going into verbal rages with my kids as I struggled getting all of us ready and to daycare, school, and work on time.
I was deep into a pattern of stress and overwhelm. Survival mode at its ugliest.
I felt helpless.
At my best, I played the Wonder Woman charade. I was working two jobs, doing all the housework, childcare, yardwork, activities—the works, by myself, including family camping trips.
I was deep into a pattern of isolation and hyper-independence.
I felt unhelpable.
But the common thread that led to my breaking point was being independent AF and the cycle of loneliness it perpetuated- my thoughts, feelings and actions kept me isolated, stressed, overwhelmed, and well, lonely.
This wasn’t sustainable.
As a trauma therapist and solo mom of 8 years, I’m grateful I finally figured out how to break this cycle, and that my breaking point turned into a breakthrough.
Now, I can easily shift my feelings and beliefs in a way that allows me to welcome in more support and take care of my family in a much more sustainable way.
I am passionate about sharing my exact 4-step framework for shifting out of chronic loneliness and into supportive patterns and experiences. I share this framework in detail, as well as the 4 mistakes to avoid when trying to beat isolation, loneliness, and barriers in connecting with others in my Free Masterclass: The Roadmap for Lonely Moms.
