🎄✨ December Fun at Hayes Residence! ✨🎄

Dear Facebook Family and Friends,

We hope you’re enjoying the holiday season—perhaps sipping on hot chocolate or cider, baking cookies and cakes 🍪🎂, participating in sweet treat exchanges 🍫, or enjoying all your favorite holiday activities.

Some of our residents have enjoyed online shopping, others have bravely tackled the holiday lines 🛍️, and some have already gotten a head start on sending out Christmas cards to their loved ones ✉️. Through it all, many are simply embracing the joy of life’s everyday gift: being present in the moment ✨.

Our residents are feeling extra festive this month! From arts & crafts 🎨 to holiday decorations 🌟, ice cream socials 🍦, antler ring toss games 🦌, and enjoying amazing comfort food and delicious meals 🍲, every day is filled with laughter, fun, and community spirit.

🎃 Come see the Halloween fun our residents are enjoying at Hayes Residence! 👻

The halls have been filled with laughter, creativity, and the warm spirit of the season! Our residents have been busy painting pumpkins, crafting festive Halloween wreaths, and decorating the facility with spooky and colorful touches. 🧡✨

It’s been wonderful to see the smiles, hear the laughter, and watch everyone come together to celebrate in their own unique way. From sharing stories and enjoying arts and crafts to admiring each other’s creativity, the joy and camaraderie in our community is truly magical.

Even the smallest moments—like a resident carefully adding the finishing touches to a pumpkin or helping a friend with a wreath—remind us how special it is to be part of this caring and fun-loving community. 🎨💫

Our wonderful Residents at Hayes have had an amazing summer filled with laughter, creativity, and adventure! 🌞🎨🐟✨ From arts and crafts sessions that sparked creativity, to a relaxing fishing trip on beautiful Lake Riley in Eden Prairie 🎣🏞️, and an exciting outing to the Pavek Museum in St. Louis Park 🏛️🎶, our residents have truly enjoyed every moment!

🎪✨ Step Right Up to the Hayes Residence Carnival! ✨🎪

What better way to spend a Friday than with a carnival inside Hayes Residence? 🎉

Our incredible Activities Director, Cecilia, brought the magic to life with sweet snacks, amazing prizes, and classic carnival games like tossing bean bags, knocking over cans, playing tic-tac-toe, and guessing the number of Tootsie Rolls in the jar! 🍭🎯🎟️

“Games were played,
Prizes were won,
Smiles were shared,
And oh, what fun!”

The joy on our residents’ faces said it all — laughter, cheering, and a few happy dance moves when those prizes were claimed! 🏆💖 Every resident went home with not only goodies but also memories worth cherishing. 🌟

👏 Huge thanks to Cecilia — our very own party rockstar — for pouring her heart into making this event unforgettable.

Great food, good company, and the perfect weather made it a wonderful time to gather together outside at the gazebo. Our Hayes community truly makes this place special, and it was such a joy to share laughs, conversations, and a delicious meal. 💛

Please join us in a big around the world round of applause as we CELEBRATE the LEGACY of Debbie Sawyer, who dedicated 35 incredible years of service as the Activities Director here at Hayes Residence!

Words alone can’t express the deep gratitude we feel for Debbie’s unwavering presence, boundless compassion, and the joy she has brought to both residents and staff throughout the years. She has been a constant source of encouragement, support, and a guiding light — always offering a kind word, warm heart, and a listening ear to others.

Debbie’s love for the outdoors and our Highland Park community was something she passed on to our residents through daily strolls, fresh air, taking walks to the park and chatting with the neighbors along the way.

Residents and staff had a time of fellowship and refreshments as we celebrated Debbie’s incredible legacy she will leave behind at Hayes Residence. As she embarks on her retirement journey. We truly had a wonderful time sending her off with the love, laughter, and such a classy celebration that she so richly deserves!

Debbie’s laughter, wisdom, and compassionate spirit will forever leave a lasting imprint on the heart of Hayes Residence and within our Highland Park Community. She will be missed but have left us with so many memories and the continued reminder to always smile and enjoy life to the fullest!
